On WorkStart we tap in to our students’ passions and find them work in areas that excite and motivate them. One trainee, Gilbert, is particularly passionate about cars, so he’s enjoying gaining hands on work experience at the QEF Mobility Services. The centre is one of the top three providers in the country, completing around 1,000 mobility assessments each year along with advice and training with adaptations and solutions, so it’s fair to say Gilbert is keeping busy at work!
Outcomes for learners are outstanding, teaching, learning and assessment are excellent and the extremely diverse programmes that meet learners’ individual needs, interests and aspirations, prepare them very well for life after College.
